WebThere's a test called "direct LDL" in which it would not affect it but usually a typical lipids panel uses an estimated equation based off of TC, HDL and TG. It's all correlated. Your TG would have just shown lower if you fasted. Either way, I would just re-test with fasting esp if you ate anything with sugar / fats.
